This is a chain restaurant that is great for families with children but not a great date night. Average food at a decent price. If you’ve got kids and need a place to feed the family on a budget, then Olive Garden is your place. Offering a large selection of Italian specialties along with a very run of the mill wine list, you can get away with dinner for 2 and a bottle of wine for under $50 which isn’t bad.
The Framingham location is perpetually crowded so make sure to call ahead for a reservation if you don’t want to wait an hour. Families are the primary customer and they do well serving to them offering many kids selections and smaller plates. Because there are so many families served here, the place generally looks like it with floors that need to be swept and tables that need to be cleaned. The staff is generally quite young but generally attentive.
If you’re in the mood for Italian, I’d head down the road to Vinny T’s and spend a little more money because it’s worth it.
