Maxwell’s 148
Tucked into an unusual little strip mall, Maxwell’s 148 is not a drive-by. Although pricey, the restaurant is well worth it for a special night out. The small intimate setting is perfect for couples and the staff is knowledgeable and attentive. The food is well prepared and offers a variety of choices from pasta to lamb shank and duck. Some of the dishes have an eastern flare with miso-sake glaze but others offer spices like curry. An interesting blend of choices for the restaurant, there is something that will be sure to tempt you. Business professionals looking to entertain a client won’t be disappointed but keep in mind that they only serve lunch on a limited number of days and a short window of time.

We have a marvelous dinner at Maxwell’s 148. Service was very attentive, Mitch Maxwell, chef/owner, as well as Maitre d’ were very welcoming. Excellent food — our group chose salmon, duck, and lamb shanks — beautifully served and delicious. Lovely desserts and great wines by the glass.
